Choose a teacher time tracking model

Teachers do not all measure their work against the same target. TeacherTime keeps recorded activity separate from the target you choose for comparison.

Simple and working-hours models

The simple model compares your entries with a weekly target and does not automatically account for sick days, leave or holidays. The working-hours model uses set weekly hours and can apply the day-event rules you configure. Both start from values you enter yourself.

Teaching-load models vary by country

Where available, a teaching-load model compares recorded teaching units with your personal weekly teaching target. The terms and rules differ by country. A German teaching deputation is not the default for teachers in the US or UK; a weekly-hours comparison may be more useful there.

Keep changes in context

If your workload or teaching-unit length changes, create a new period so earlier weeks retain their original target. TeacherTime does not calculate a contractual annual-hours or leave entitlement for you.
